On February 1, the first day of Black History Month, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter told the world that she is pregnant with twins via an Instagram post! The beautiful picture she posted showed her in bra and underwear with sheer green fabric over her head, kneeling in front of a flower arrangement. The caption read, “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for you well wishes. – The Carters.”
For those of you who do not know who Beyoncé is, you need to leave this post, rewind your life and actually pay attention to society for about 5 seconds. Not only is she one of the most respected musical artists of current time, she is also a role model and activist for women’s empowerment and black rights. Her believes are portrayed through her musical albums as she continues to grow as a woman and a mother. She has produced an HBO Documentary named, “Life is But a Dream,” a 5 part “Self-Titled” behind the scenes series for her album, “Beyoncé,” and has created countless music videos to proper explain her albums, life and what she stands for.
